In 1979 wonderful Andras Kalman had my pictures at his Crane Kalman Gallery, while I survived doing accounting jobs, and I will be grateful to him forever for his encouragement and kindness. Then in 1980 I met Jill George, the beginning of a long friendship, and over the next 10 years showed at her gallery - formerly Thumb Gallery, now the Jill George Gallery - in mixed and solo exhibitions. After the birth of my son in 1991, I concentrated more on illustration, needing a slightly more regular income and the adrenaline of deadlines! I show locally in The Riverside Artists annual exhibitions and during the Stroud Open Studios. Currently working on a series of pictures on Dance, Love and War.
